CORAL SPRINGS, FL – A 13-year-old who left her Coral Springs home on Saturday was found safe on Monday in Alexandria, Va, police said.

Coral Springs police announced on social media on Monday evening that Riyah Jolly was located and safe. 

Jolly’s family had been searching for her locally since Saturday when she left her home along with another boy who lived with her, police said.

Police treated her disappearance as a runaway case.

She was last seen at Mullins Park in Coral Springs, according to her family.

It wasn’t immediately clear how Jolly got to Alexandria and why she went there.
