Could Fanwood PNC Bank Robber Have Struck Martinsville Convenience Store 3 Days Later?

December 13, 2013 at 1:16 PM

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The suspect in the robbery of a Bridgewater convenience store Tuesday bears a description similar to that of the suspect in the Saturday morning robbery of PNC Bank in Fanwood.
As reported by The Alternative Press of Warren, an armed robbery occurred just over the Warren Township border at the Krauszer's Foods and Blimpie Sub Shop at 1918 Washington Valley Road in the Martinsville section of Bridgewater at 9:10 p.m. on Tuesday. Bridgewater police and Somerset County detectives are searching for a suspect described as "white, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, with a medium build, wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants, black footwear, black gloves, and what appeared to be a black scarf covering his face."
The suspect in the Fanwood bank robbery three days earlier was a 5-foot-7 white male between 30 and 35 years of age with a stocky build of about 200 pounds with brown hair, sideburns and a brown beard. He was reported to be wearing a black shirt, black pants, a red and orange baseball cap and a blue scarf.
In the Bridgewater incident, the suspect entered the premises, approached the employee, and told him that he was carrying a weapon. The man then removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

Fanwood Chief of Police Richard Trigo told The Alternative Press of Scotch Plains/Fanwood on Friday that the matter is still under investigation, but would not comment on a possible connection between the two incidents, other than to say that, unlike the PNC Bank robbery, the Krauszer's robbery "is not under investigation by the FBI, because a bank robbery is a federal offense."
The suspect in the Fanwood PNC Bank robbery was confirmed by the FBI's Newark Division to have committed two robberies at a branch of Investors Savings Bank in Elizabeth on Aug. 30 and Oct. 30 according to an FBI news release earlier this week (http://www.fbi.gov/newark/press-releases/2013/fbi-seeks-publics-assistance-in-identifying-serial-bank-robber-3).
“In all robberies, the individual approached the teller, made various threats, and made off with undisclosed amounts of cash,” the FBI said in a news release on Tuesday. “The robber wore a red hat during every robbery, sunglasses during one robbery, and gloves during another robbery,”

January 18, 2017

To the editor:

I sent this letter to Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman on her failure to represent us at the Presidential Inauguration on January 20, 2017. To date, she has not taken the time or extended me the decency to respond.

This makes one wonder, if she and those wo do not want to attend, should resign from their offices, since they refuse to the job we are paying them to ...
