CORAL SPRINGS, FL – Two new Covid-19 vaccination sites will open this week in Broward County – one in Coral Springs and the other in Fort Lauderdale to help speed up inoculations for those 65 and older.
The Coral Springs site, run by Florida Department of Health, will open Wednesday at Coral Square Mall at 9469 W. Atlantic Boulevard, Monday through Friday, by appointment only. Register here: www.browardcovidvaccine.com
The site will be for people to walk-up, not drive up, officials said. Read more here.
The Fort Lauderdale site, operated by Broward Health, will begin offering vaccines on Tuesday at Inter Miami CF Stadium at Lockhart Park at 1350 NW 55 Street. There, Monday through Friday, the vaccine will also be offered to paramedics and physicians without hospital privileges as well as their office staff.
People must register in advance at BrowardHealth.org, then click on “To request a COVID-19 vaccination click here” to complete and submit a form.
