CORAL SPRINGS, FL – Coral Springs has surpassed the 5,000 mark of Covid-19 cases, according to data released Monday.

The 376 additional cases since Friday has brought the city’s total to 5,012 cases, Florida Department of Health reported.

Broward County had 688 new cases reported on Monday, bringing the total to 101,747 cases, according to the data.

The county recorded three more deaths on Monday for a total of 1,629.

Broward’s positivity rate, from Sunday, was 6.36%, down from 7.54% on Thursday.  

Florida had 6,080 additional cases of coronavirus reported Monday, pushing the state to 944,745 cases.

The state announced 94 new deaths on Monday for a total of 18,085.
