CORAL SPRINGS, FL – CVS Pharmacy began Wednesday to offer Covid-19 vaccine appointments at two stores in Broward County.

The stores in Tamarac and Plantation will be providing vaccines to people age 65 and older and health care workers, according to the company’s website.

CVS Pharmacy is the latest retail chain to provide vaccines in Broward County.

Ten Walmart and Sam’s Club stores are also offering vaccines throughout the county. Read more here about their locations.

Publix and Winn-Dixie stores are providing vaccines, too, but not in Broward County.

Gov. Ron DeSantis announced this week that 81 CVS Pharmacy, CVS Pharmacy y más, and Navarro Discount Pharmacy locations are joining the rollout of the vaccine.

The doses coming to CVS Pharmacy locations are part of the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program.
