Dapper Dans of Harmony, along with Caldwell’s Gimme Four, to Perform Sunday at the Mount

CALDWELL, NJ - The Dapper Dans of Harmony, directed by Mark Paul, will be presenting their spring concert “Music is in the Air” on Sunday, May 19, at 2pm. The group sings traditional music in the four-part Barbershop style. Their event will take place at the Doris M. Byrne Performing Arts Center at Mount St. Dominic Academy. The afternoon performances include entertainment from Our Town and Gimme Four quartets as well as appearances by Rebecca Monk and Black Tie Affair. The academy is located at 3 Ryerson Avenue, Caldwell.

The Dapper Dans are the Montclair, chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. The group puts on many shows around the northern New Jersey area. Their website states “We’re dedicated to the fun, fellowship, entertainment and advancement of Barbershopping.” They meet for rehearsal on Tuesday nights from 7pm to 10pm at the West Caldwell Civic Center.

Gimme Four is a collegiate quartet based in Caldwell. In 2012, they competed at the International Collegiate Quartet Contest in Portland, Oregon as part of the Barbershop Harmony Society's 74th International Convention, placing 8th.  The group is made up of the following men, all residents of Caldwell:
