Darby Road's Second Annual Saint Patrick's Day Festival

Gather the family, invite the neighbors, and all of your friends to the second annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival taking place under the big tent at Darby Road, 450 Park Ave. in Scotch Plains. The event begins at 6 p.m., Friday, March 14, and concludes on Monday, March 17.  

On Friday March 14, entertainment a live performance from The Broadcasters and DJ music. Starting at noon on Saturday and again on Sunday, there will be live Irish music from Spontaneous Corruption, The Blarney Session, and The Raggle Taggle Gypsy-Os, who mix traditional and modern Celtic music.

Fans of Irish dancing will enjoy performances by the Shea-Jennings School of Irish Dance and The Marie Moore School of Irish Dance. There will also be pony rides, face painting for the young ones.

On Monday, St. Patrick’s Day, the celebration features bagpipes, Irish dancers and the Raggle Taggle Gypsyo’s.

The marathon party also will benefit The Scotch Plains PAL, Holy Trinity Scholarship Fund, and The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of Union County. A suggested donation of five dollars will be accepted at the door.
