Davison, Leto, Donoghue Lead Chatham Runners in NYC Marathon

NEW YORK - Rick Davison and Gary Leto were among the 50,000 people to run the New York City Marathon on Sunday and led a contingent of nine Chatham residents to cross the finish line.

Davison finished in 3:11:03 and, less than a minute later, Leto clocked in at 13:12:02. Mark Donoghue was the third Chathamite to complete the 26.2-mile course with a time of 3:22:16, followed by Andrew Bernstein in 3:47:29.

Angelica Burns was the first woman from Chatham to finish in 3:49:58, followed closely behind by Michelle Cutlip in 3:50:15. The other Chatham runners included Sean Barrett (3:57:47), Lori Wickham (4:01:39) and Cara Haid (4:06:34).

The Agnes Lunetta Faith Scholarship award is presented annually to a seventh-grade student as a $1,000 scholarship toward their eighth-grade tuition at St. Patrick School.
