Partisan and nonpartisan noshers alike can rejoice as, with the campaign season steamrolling toward the November 3 General Election, Brownie Points Bakery in Summit has created a quorum of classic American desserts celebrating Americans' right to vote.

Adding to the theme is an array of acrylic paintings of historic and political figures, including Abraham Lincoln, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Martin Luther King, Alexander Hamilton and Barack Obama. The one-of-a-kind works are courtesy of Julie Gaines, founder of Fishs Eddy in New York City. The 'Lincoln Memorial' art exhibit consists of portraits painted on glass with found frames making each one unique

Brownie Points co-owner Bob Conway says, “2020 has been a year like no other and it’s vitally important for people to exercise their right to vote in this election. We hope to inspire people to vote and provide them with some great treats throughout the election season. We will be featuring some favorite desserts of past presidents over the next six weeks.”
