WAYNE, NJ – This morning we reported that the PSE&G Outage Map showed power restorations to happen in Wayne on Aug 6 and 7. The Map has been updated and although some areas still have an Aug 6 or Aug 7 restoration date, many now say August 9, and some say: “Assessing Condition.”
The JCP&L Outage Map, still does not have any restoration dates for any Wayne areas that are without power. Their site only says: “Estimated restoration time will be provided when available.”
Luckily, the weather looks like it will cooperate to some degree.
Today is as hot as it will get in Wayne for the next few days, according to WeatherBug. Thursday’s high is only supposed to be 81, and Friday’s high is only supposed to reach 75. Saturday, Aug 8 will only reach 83 and Sunday, Aug 9 it will get back to being really hot at 87.
The next few nights are only supposed to reach highs in the 60s, so sleeping with the windows open may be nice. There are 30% chance of rain on Thursday night and Friday morning, but otherwise it should be clear. IF their predictions are correct.
Stay Cool, Wayne.
