PATERSON, NJ- The Eastside High School Mighty Ghosts head into their sixth game of the season on Saturday against Dwight Morrow High School on Saturday with a 1-5 record. The game will be played on the Ghost’s homefield with kick-off set for 1:00 p.m.

The game against the Maroon Raiders comes after a disappointing 42-6 loss for the Ghosts last Friday against Clifton High School.

With the first half of the season behind them the Ghosts, according to players and coaches, still have time left to prove that they have the talent and skill to compete in their final games of the 2018 campaign.

While the scoreboard didn’t reflect it, there were bright spots in the Ghosts’ game against the Mustangs with their defense coming alive in the fourth quarter and the front line helping junior safety Demile Townes record a sack against the home team’s QB.

Ghosts quarterback Waymeer Reed followed with a late passing touchdown to Ashin Jacobs, showing both of their abilities to connect for scores under pressure.

“Our team can only grow,” Head Coach Tyrone Turner told TAPinto Paterson following the game.
