WEST ORANGE. NJ - Albert Saad, CEO of Integral Properties, LLC and Doctors Express, announced the opening of their new West Orange urgent care center at 464 Eagle Rock Avenue on March 17. In addition, a community open house will be held on Saturday, March 15, from 12:00 - 4:00 pm.
The West Orange Doctors Express is the second of several urgent care centers expected to be opened throughout New Jersey over the course of the next several years. Their first facility opened recently in South Plainfield and has been a great success.
Doctors Express works as a state-of-the-art urgent care center where individuals can walk in to receive treatment for acute and non-life threatening illnesses and injuries.
In an interview with the Alternative Press, Mr. Saad said that Doctors Express would serve as a stopgap between a Primary Care Physician and an Emergency Room. "We provide episodic treatment for everyone, from pediatric to geriatric," he noted.
According to their press release, "Doctors Express accepts most insurance plans and offers a comprehensive suite of medical services including digital x-rays, on-site laboratories, and prescription medication dispensation. Appointments are not required and patients are always treated by licensed and board-certified physicians who are passionate about the practice of medicine. "
Individuals should check with their insurance companies about coverage, but the co-pay at Doctors Express would most probably be that of an insurance's specialist co-pay visit.
The West Orange facility will be open from 8 am - 8 pm Monday through Friday and from 8 am - 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
The March 15 open house will feature a proclamation from Mayor Robert Parisi, guided tours of the facility, free blood pressure screeings, giveaways for all attendees, and raffles for the opportunity to win gift baskets from national brands including French’s®, Frank’s® RedHot®, Manischewitz, and Snyder of Berlin, and gift certificates from local businesses in the community. There will also be featured performances by the Youth Orchestras of Essex County.
Albert Saad and Dr. Avery Browne, the Medical Director of the new Doctors Express urgent care centers in West Orange NJ and South Plainfield NJ, will be present to meet the community and answer questions. Browne is a board-certified physician in Family Medicine and licensed to practice in New Jersey and New York.
"Doctors Express provides patients with quality, convenient, and affordable medical care without an appointment on an extended-hour basis seven days a week. We are excited about our compelling value proposition and look forward to serving the local community,” said Saad.
Doctors Express was founded in Towson, Maryland and opened its first urgent care center in 2009. The Company has since grown to more than 70 urgent care centers nationwide. Earlier this year, Doctors Express merged with American Family Care based in Birmingham, Alabama, to become the largest privately-owned urgent care center operator in the country.
