MADISON, NJ - The Madison varsity boys lacrosse team erupted for seven goals in the third quarter to break open a close game on its way to a 17-4 victory over Cranford on Tuesday.
Andrew Kaye, Vince Sapio and Christian Scarpello scored four goals apiece for the Dodgers (2-1). AJ Schmitz scored two goals and passed for four assists. Sean Casey had two assists in the victory.
Madison was cliinging to a 6-4 lead after two periods, but the Dodgers outscored the Cougars, 7-0, in the third period to bust the contest wide open.
Other Madison goals came from Justin Dalena, Sean Hurley and Michael Gleason.
