Winston is a male Terrier mix of unknown type. He is about 2 years old and weighs 17 pounds. Wilson is a follower and enjoys being a lap dog. He is friendly with other dogs and people. Wilson is good with children. He will occasionally bark at cats. Winston really likes three things -- getting affection, running fast at the park, and taking a ride with his furry face out the window happily blowing in the wind.

Wilson’s foster mom says, "He has a sturdy frame and an adorable old man look about him. He is so lovable. He only has one expression: It can mean I like you, I'm hungry, I want a walk, I'm happy or I'm sad. He is so good, calm and gentle that sometimes you forget he's around”.

For more information on Winston or any of the other dogs available through Home for Good Dog Rescue visit the Home for Good website (, call (908) 598-8212 or email If you are considering adopting Winston or one of the other Home for Good dogs, please complete an online application.  A pre-approved application is required for all “meet and greets” and adoptions.
