WESTFIELD, NJ — Downtown Westfield’s sidewalks were filled with costumed children and parents Oct. 27 for its annual trick-or-treat event, sponsored by the Downtown Westfield Corporation. Families stopped by participating shops and restaurants for candy, stickers and other treats.

Later that afternoon, The Optimist Club of Westfield held its annual Halloween Parade, led by the Westfield High School Marching Blue Devils:

Afterward, children were awarded prizes from downtown businesses in a costume contest sponsored by the Downtown Westfield Corporation.
