PLAINFIELD, NJ - The Plainfield Board of Education issued a statement on Monday, noting that for personal reasons, Dr. Ronald E. Bolandi has resigned from the district.  He had first met the public at a meeting in January 2018.

According to the release, until the next board meeting on Wednesday April, 24, Business Administrator Gary Ottmann is in charge of the district. The Union County Executive Superintendent of Schools is fully aware of this situation.

As soon as the Board makes arrangements for an Interim/Acting Superintendent, the district will inform the community accordingly.
