DWI Arrest Made on Fairmount Avenue

CHATHAM, NJ - Patrice Gallic, 44 of Berkeley Heights was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated.

On April 12 at 8:54 p.m. Sergeant Robert Scheetz observed a vehicle pulled to the side of the roadway on Fairmount Avenue. Upon checking on the driver, he observed that her head was down and appeared to be sleeping.

Sergeant Scheetz subsequently stopped the vehicle after the driver raised her head and drove away. As a result of the stop and subsequent roadside sobriety testing, the driver, Ms. Gallic was transported to police headquarters, processed and later released to a family member.

Ms. Gallic was issued summonses for driving while intoxicated and failure to submit proper breath samples. She is scheduled to appear on April 16 in municipal court.
