PARKLAND, FL- Stoneman Douglas High School's marching band, the Eagle Regiment, is working on a project to remember our fallen heroes this holiday season and needs the Parkland and Coral Springs community's help.

The Eagle Regiment is working with Wreaths Across America in an effort to lay a wreath on the tombstone of all veterans in America. Wreaths Across America is a nationwide effort that will culminate in National Wreath Laying Day on Dec. 19 at more than 2,100 cemeteries nationwide. 

The Eagle Regiment's goal as part of the effort is to lay a Remembrance Wreath for every veteran at Forest Lawn North Memorial Garden in Pompano Beach. The project will consistent of fundraising $15 per wreath for 2,000 wreaths to make it happen. For each wreath purchased $5 will be donated towards the Eagle Regiment as well.
