EDISON, NJ - The Edison Chamber of Commerce hosted its second annual Food, Wine, and Beer Festival on Saturday, at Papaianni Park. The event featured live music, games, food carts, and various vendors and retailers. Among the food vendors were The Empanada Guy, Jersey Johnny’s, Zinburger, Seasons Coal Fired Bistro, and Twisted Steaks.
Residents had the opportunity to enjoy live music from 4 live bands including : Smooth Band Orchestra, Giffords Lane, The Shots, and Jacob Murrell.
Danielle Dembia, who was representing exhibitor Seasons 52, said “It’s a great time to be outside and be part of the community, and hear live music and just sit back and relax.”
The event also put a spotlight on hometown brewer, Cypress Brewery, serving craft beer only. In addition to the Cypress Brewery, were Dark City Brewing, Cream Ridge Winery, and Iron Plow Vineyards.
“It’s a fun event” said Annette Rodriguez, from Corn Krush. “The ambiance, there are all types of music, all nationalities- a very mixed crowd so no one feels isolated. And who doesn’t want to have a cocktail, and have some good food.”
Angelina Maldonado, resident of Edison, praised the wide selection of food.“There’s a wonderful selection of food from all over the world. You have Italian, Puerto Rican, Indian” she said, adding “Come for the food!”
