EDISON, NJ - An Edison student is one of four Regional Finalists for the 2019 Coca-Cola Scholarship. Sameer Jain, from Edison High School, is one of 251 students selected out of the over 95,000 high school seniors and and nearly 1,900 Semifinalists who applied for the scholarship.

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship, now in its 30th year, is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors. According to the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation, which runs the program, it has provided over 6,000 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $66 million in educational support.

Regional finalists will now participate in the next phase of the selection process, a 20 minute interview with the Regional Interview Committee. The committee consists of a foundation staff member and previous Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship recipients.

Once interviews are conducted, 150 of the 251 regional finalists will be named as a Coca-Cola Scholar and receive a $20,000 college scholarship.
