NUTLEY, NJ - Raise your glass, raise the roof, and raise some support this Saturday when the Old Canal Inn on the Nutley / Bloomfield border hosts its first annual Oktoberfest Food Drive Festival under sunny skies this Saturday.

Forget "Roll Out The Barrel," owner Mark Conca and the OCI team are going to roll out the welcome mat for an afternoon of family fun with food, beer, and music, and its all to support the community.

With special arrangement, the parking lot of the OCI will become a Festhaus for one afternoon only. Conca and the OCI crew will be serving beer to their guests. There are dozens of taps and countless bottled beers available for purchase. Then there's the food.

The parking lot will be set up with traditional barbecue and wood fired pizza. Joining the fun will be The Empanada Lady, Geloti by Mike, Somers Sours (pickels), and Nutley's own Philly Pretzel Company. A handful of local craft vendors will be present showcasing their wares. And if that's not enough, some of the best "best friends" from the Bloomfield Animal Shelter will be visiting with the hope of finding their "furever" home.

The fun starts at 12 p.m. and continues until 6 p.m. on Saturday September 21 at the Old Canal Inn, 2 East Passaic Ave Nutley NJ 07110.
