Elaine Pruzon of Short Hills Ranks As No. 1 NJ Agent On Real Trends List Of Top U.S. Real Estate Professionals

SHORT HILLS, N.J.  – (August 20, 2013) – Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage sales associate Elaine Pruzon, the leading real estate agent in the Short Hills/Millburn marketplace, has also been recognized as the No. 1 agent in New Jersey in the Wall Street Journal/Real Trends 2013 Top 1,000 report of America’s most successful real estate professionals. Pruzon ranked No. 81 on the list of the Top 250 individual sales professionals by closed transaction volume, closing approximately $88.6 million in sales in 2012. She has been named to the Real Trends “Top Thousand” for five consecutive years.

According to Real Trends, the leading sales professionals in the Top Thousand averaged more than 140 closed transactions and over $50 million in closed sales volume. As a comparison, the national averages are less than 10 closed transactions and less than $1.2 million in closed volume.

Pruzon is the No. 1 agent in her Short Hills sales office and company, ranking first out of approximately 3,000 Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage sales professionals in New Jersey and Rockland County, N.Y. based on her 2012 sales volume. For three out of the past four years, Pruzon has led the company in sales performance. Pruzon is also the No. 1 agent in her Short Hills office, an achievement she has maintained since 1996. In 2012, Pruzon additionally ranked as the No. 1 agent across all real estate companies in the Short Hills/Millburn marketplace based on units sold, volume and total sales, according to the Garden State Multiple Listing Service.

As a winner of the Coldwell Banker International President’s Premier Award for 2012, Pruzon ranks within the top 1 percent of approximately 82,200 Coldwell Banker sales professionals worldwide. She has earned the Coldwell Banker International President’s Premier and Elite designations repeatedly. Pruzon was also honored in 2012 with membership in Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage parent company NRT LLC’s exclusive Society of Excellence, representing the highest level of achievement. 

Pruzon was also honored with the New Jersey Association of Realtors (NJAR) Circle of Excellence Award at the highest Platinum Level for her 2012 sales performance. Altogether, she has won the Circle of Excellence Award at the Gold Level from 1996-2001 and the Platinum Level from 2002-2012. Pruzon additionally earned the NJAR Distinguished Sales Club Award, having achieved the NJAR Circle of Excellence Award for 10 years.

Coldwell Banker placed more agents and teams than any other brand on the nationwide Real Trends rankings, with 155 spots across the four categories, and held the most overall spots in individual agent sales volume (53) and team sales volume (36). Sales associates affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s parent company NRT represented 35 percent (88) of the spots within the Top 250 Agents by Sales Volume.
