Enjoy Final Fanwood Movie “The Avengers” Along with Nick’s Pizza

FANWOOD, NJ – Marvel's The Avengers (rated PG-13), the third highest grossing film of all time, will be playing on Tuesday August 13th from 8:00PM-10:30PM to wrap up the Fanwood Tuesday Night Summer Movie Series at LaGrande Park, and Nick's Pizza will continue their movie night special.

"Tuesday, August 13th is the last movie night in the series.  This summer just flew by, and we want to extend the movie deal through the end of August because it’s had a lot of positive feedback and we really appreciate the following,” said Paul Watterson, owner of Nick’s Pizza.  “We’ve had so much fun with movie night…we just don’t want the summer to end!

Nick’s Pizza has been running a “movie night special” every Tuesday night from 5pm to 8pm in conjunction with the Summer Movie series. The deal is $6.99 for plain 18” pies or any 12”regular subs - pick-up, dine in or delivery.   In case of rain, the offer stands for Wednesday night 5pm to 8pm.

Marvel's The Avengers, released on May 3rd, 2012, unites some of Marvel's greatest superheroes like Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Captain America, and Thor as they attempt to save the world from the villain Loki and his army. The film features famed actors like Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, and Scarlett Johansson. A sequel to the film will be released in theaters in the summer of 2015.

The Fanwood Tuesday Night Summer Movie Series has enabled people to view their favorite movies every Tuesday night on a state-of-the-art 16 foot outdoor screen. Other films shown this summer included Oz: The Great and Powerful, Madagascar 3, and Brave.
