This free family morning is named after Li’l Herc, the star in a book debuting this year called Li’l Herc The Power of Kindness, written by Suzanne Kopp-Moskow and illustrated by Beatrice M. Bulteau. The story is about a young girl struggling physically and emotionally due to a chronic medical condition. It’s the type of book that would appeal to a wide audience because of its message of kindness and compassion. It also reflects part of the real life author’s story that she lived through as a young girl.
