NEWARK, NJ - Two Early Voting Facilities will be opened to Essex County Registered Voters. The Essex County Clerk’s Office, Christopher J. Durkin, County Clerk will open an additional Early Voting Center located at the South Mountain Recreation Complex, Turtle Back Zoo (TBZ) Education Building, 560 Northfield Avenue, West Orange, NJ 07052. Registered Voters can cast their Vote in person through November 5 at 3 p.m.

By providing an additional facility, centrally located in Essex County, greater access to participate in the Early Voting Process is provided to the public to cast their vote (in person) during the Early Voting period. The two Early Voting Centers are:

The County Clerk’s Office, Hall of Records in Newark, NJ has always been open to the Voters of Essex County for “Early Voting” prior to 3:00pm, the day before Election Day. With the increase in Early Voting applications, additional facilities will make it more convenient for voters to participate in the upcoming Election on November 6, 2018.
