Essex County Executive and Sheriff Get Soaked at South Mountain Recreation Complex in West Orange

WEST ORANGE, NJ - Essex County Executive Joe DiVincenzo, Sheriff Armando Fontoura, and 25 members of DiVincenzo's staff took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge at the South Mountain Recreation Complex in West Orange on August 20.

The County Executive was challenged by NJ State Senator and Essex County Deputy Chief of Staff Teresa
Ruiz to participate and DiVincenzo extended the challenge to the Sheriff and his entire cabinet.

To see the video of the challenge, go to . More than 41 million dollars have been raised as a result of the challenge, which seeks to raise awareness for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as "Lou Gehrig's Disease."
