At the Aug. 23 Lansdale Founders Day event, Fairmount Fire Company officially celebrated its 125th anniversary by cutting the cake and sharing it with the community.

On hand at the event were Discover Lansdale Chairwoman Mary Fuller, Lansdale Fire Marshal Jay Daveler, fire company President Ian Fickert, Chief Joe Stockert and Lansdale Mayor Andy Szekely, who presented a proclamation to the fire company in recognition of its anniversary.
