On Sunday, November 3rd the Walpack Historical Society will sponsor a hike to the 1812 Richard Layton House, a 3-mile loop over varied terrain. Myra Snook, historian, will provide commentary along the way.
Hikers will meet at 11am at the Rosenkrans Museum, Main Street, Walpack Center, NJ within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, and carpool to the trail head.
The Walpack Historical Society operates under agreement with the National Park Service, Department of the Interior.
Wear sturdy shoes or boots and a hat, bring water, a snack, and insect repellant.
The hike is free and the public is invited.
