FANWOOD, NJ - Police have charged 53-year-old Richard Kovach with aggravated assault and weapons offenses, false imprisonment, and making terroristic threats in connection with a stabbing incident at a North Ave. home in Fanwood on Friday night.

Kovach was released from University Hospital in Newark earlier today and currently is being held on $250,000 bail at a Union County facility, according to Fanwood Police Chief Richard Trigo.
