On 12/03/2012 @ 3:20 PM Officer made a M.V. stop in the 300 block of South Ave. for a M.V. violation. While the Officer was speaking with the driver he could detect a strong odor of marijuana. A search of the vehicle revealed a bag of suspected marijuana. Both the driver and passenger were arrested, processed, charged with possession of C.D.S. and released on a summons with a court date. 
Driver is a Kamall Moore 19 year old male from Plainfield.
Passenger is a James Sykes 21 year old male from Plainfield.
On 12/03/2012 @ 8:09 PM Officer made a M.V. stop @ South Ave. & First St. for a M.V. violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of Linden. The driver was arrested, processed, posted bail and released. Defendant is a Michael Lowey 51 year old male from South Plainfield.

On 12/04/2012 @ 12:09 PM Officer made a M.V. stop in the 200 block of South Ave. for a M.V. violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of Union Twp. The driver was arrested, processed, posted bail and released. Defendant is a Raheem Fogle 33 year old male from Scotch Plains.
Between 12/03/2012 @ 9:00 PM & 12/04/2012 @ 6:30 PM a member of a local organization reported criminal mischief to their sales stand, which is located at LaGrande Park.
On 12/06/2012 between 8:45 AM & 4:10 PM the victim reported he parked his vehicle at the Northside Train Station and when he returned an unknown person used a rock and smashed out a rear windshield and removed a GPS. The value is $120.00.

Plainfield Resident Arrested, Charged in Connection with Thursday Night Death

PLAINFIELD, NJ - A Plainfield resident has been arrested and charged for his alleged role in an altercation that resulted in the death of 34-year-old Oscar Isaac Ramos Lopez  this week, acting Union County Prosecutor Grace H. Park announced Saturday.

Jamie Castillo Castro, 24, is charged with first-degree aggravated manslaughter in connection with the killing.
