Fanwood Police Blotter, Oct. 2-6

On Oct. 2 at 6:31 p.m., Officer responded to a M.V. accident @ South Ave. & Terrill Rd. Upon the Officers arrival he was speaking with the driver and could detect a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the drivers breath. The driver was asked to perform a field sobriety test which he was unable to complete. The driver was arrested, processed, charged with D.W.I. and released to a responsible person. Defendant is a Peter Kulsa, 73, of Plainfield.
 
On Oct. 2 between 9:50 and 10 p.m. two victims reported a male exposed himself while they were sitting on a bench located on Martine Avenue. The suspect fled on foot towards LaGrande Avenue. Description of the suspect is a male approximately 5-foot-10, average build, wearing a gray sweatshirt and gray or dark colored sweatpants. Anyone with information can call Sgt. On Oct. 3 at 9:25 a.m. Officer made a M.V. stop @ South Ave. & Locust Ave. for a M.V. violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of Frehold Township. The driver was arrested, processed, posted bail and released. Defendant is a Corey Axon-Freyre, 38, Freehold Twp.
 
On Oct. 5 @ 11:55 a.m. Officer made a M.V. stop @ South Ave. & Second Street for a M.V. violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of South Plainfield. The driver was arrested, processed and released by South Plainfield Municipal Court. Defendant is a Julio Maldonado, 21, of Scotch Plains
 

On Oct. 5 @ 1:30 a.m. Officer made a M.V. stop @ Maxon Ave. & Shirley St. for a M.V. violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of Springfield. The driver was arrested, processed, posted bail and released. Defendant is a Terence Sheffield, 46, of Plainfield.
 
On Oct. 5 @ 2:15 a.m., Officer made a M.V. stop @ Martine Ave. & W. Broad St. for a M.V. violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of Hackettstown. The driver was arrested, processed, posted bail and released. Defendant is a Jonathan Klein, 27, of Long Valley.
 
On Oct. 6 @ 3:16 a.m. Officer made a M.V. stop @ North Ave. & Morse Ave. for a M.V. violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of Pleasantville. The driver was arrested, processed and released by Pleasantville Municipal Court. Defendant is a Torrey Hill, 38, of Atlantic City.
 
On Oct. 6 @ 11:50 p.m., Officer made a M.V. stop @ Terrill Rd. & E. 7th St. for a M.V. violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of Piscataway. The driver was arrested, processed, posted bail and released. Defendant is a Maya Drew, 35, of Plainfield.
