FANWOOD,NJ -- Fanwood Police Department has promoted Marc Gottlick to the rank of Lieutenant.

Surrounded by his family and his colleagues, Lt. Gottlick was sworn in by Mayor Mahr prior to the Borough Council  meeting on Monday evening. Lt. Gottlick was raised in Fanwood and is married to his wife Jennifer, they have two sons named Ethan and Jackson. He has spent the past 25 years with the Fanwood police.

Some highlights of his career include the 2014 Recipient of the 200 Club Valor Award, 2014 NJ EMS First Responder of the Year Award, JFK Hospital Recognition of Outstanding Patient Care Award and numerous other awards and accommodations from the Borough of Fanwood, Fanwood Police Department, and the Knights of Columbus.

Gottlick is also an active Member of the Fanwood EMS, as well as Fanwood and Greenbrook Fire Departments, and is the Deputy of the Fanwood Office of Emergency Management.
