The Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA and the National Exercise Training Association (NETA) are co-sponsoring two workshops designed for fitness professionals on July 23rd and 24th.
The first workshop on Saturday, July 23rd is “Core on Command” beginning at 8:00 am -1:00 pm. This class takes a functional approach to traditional core crunches with the added element of balance work, Pilates and equipment options that can be incorporated into any core workout. A sure way to re-energize any abdominal workout!
The second workshop is on Sunday, July 24th beginning 8:00 am -1:00 pm is the workshop “Fusion Bosu.” In this class learn methods to integrate the mind-body experience of yoga and Pilates with the BOSU, bringing your current balance trainer workout to a whole new level! Mind-body exercises will be fused with the BOSU to challenge your mental and physical strength and balance allowing you more movement freedom and exercise challenges than you ever dreamed of.
Both workshops will be held at the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA located at 1340 Martine Avenue in Scotch Plains. Each workshop provides 5 CEC’s from NETA, .5 ACE, 5 AFAA. For registration information please call 1-800-237-6242 or register online at: www.netafit.org.
