Fanwood Water Main Work Continues This Weekend

FANWOOD, NJ -- New Jersey American Water continues its project to upgrade Fanwoood's water mains on the south side of the borough. Construction will continue this weekend down south Martine Ave. to Shady Lane and Trenton Ave.  Construction hours have changed and now will be Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (starting earlier and ending earlier than this past week).
April 2-7, 2014, more than 700 ft. of new 16-inch water mains will be installed from Shady Lane to Trenton Ave.  
April 8-10, NJ American Water will install 500 ft. of 8-inch pipes on LaGrande Ave. from Martine Ave. to MacDermott Pl.
April 13-20, more than 1,000 feet of 12-inch water mains will be installed on Trenton Ave. from Martine Ave. to McGinn School.
April 21-23, 200 feet of 6-in main will be replaced on Saville Row.
