Fischer Barr & Wissinger LLC Partner Delivers Two Presentations to International Group of Limousine Operators

Eric J. Barr, Partner, Fischer Barr & Wissinger LLC recently gave two full-day presentations to LEG, an international group of independent limousine operators. The first, held in San Francisco and the second, held in Chicago, discussed the impact of the economy on the limousine industry, the effect of changing accounting rules on financial statements of limousine operators, how to get your banker to say yes, improving operational efficiency, advantages and disadvantages of different entity forms (C Corporation, S Corporation, Limited Liability Company) and how much is your business worth. Each meeting was attended by fifteen to twenty business owners/operators of limousine companies, with operations in Toronto, Canada and major cities throughout the United States.

Mr. Barr is a founder and co-managing member of Fischer Barr & Wissinger LLC, and is the Director of the Firm’s Accounting and Assurance Services and Business Valuation departments. He brings almost forty years of public accounting experience to the Fischer Barr & Wissinger team, and specializes in consulting with and providing traditional tax, accounting and auditing services to owner-managed businesses. Eric is also an expert in the areas of business valuations, commercial litigation, forensic accounting and fraud investigation. Prior to joining Fischer Barr & Wissinger, Eric was a litigation and accounting partner in a national CPA firm. He has also held Quality Control positions at several accounting firms and is a former Director of Accounting and Assurance Services of a mid-sized New Jersey CPA firm.
