EAST AURORA, NY -- Fisher-Price recalled all Rock 'n Play Sleepers sold since 2009 due to infant deaths according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission's website.

More than 30 infant fatalities have occurred in Rock ‘n Play Sleepers, after the infants rolled over while unrestrained or under other circumstances, according to the CPSC.

Major retailers sold the product for $40 to $149 since 2009. Fisher-Price officials say they stand by the safety of its products.

"We stand by the safety of our products," Fisher-Price General Manager Chuck Scothon said in a news release. "However, due to reported incidents in which the product was used contrary to the safety warnings and instructions, we have decided to conduct a voluntary recall of the Rock 'n Play Sleeper in partnership with the Consumer Product Safety Commission."
