LIVINGSTON, NJ -- Beginning this this September, Livingston Public Schools will be offering a five-day preschool program that will integrate children with special needs with regular education students.
The regular education students will be selected by lottery from applications filed by March 14, 2014 to fill available space.
The half-day classes will be located at Burnet Hill Elementary School for children who turn 3 or 4 before October 1, 2014.
The 3-year-old program will be held during mornings, Monday-Friday, from 8:20 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.
The 4-year-old program will be held during afternoons, Monday-Friday, from 11:50 a.m. to 2:20 p.m.
The cost for students selected by lottery will be $3,000 a year. Requirements for admitted to the program include: a birth certificate, copy of immunization and proof of Livingston residency will be required of those students.

Applicants will be notified of their child’s status no later than March 17, 2014.
