Flash Flood Warning In Somerset County With Damaging Winds: Trees and Power Lines Down With Road Closures
SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ - A flash flood warning is currently in effect for Somerset County until 7:30 p.m. Damaging wind has already occurred and power outages are being reported in the area.
Numerous trees, and a swing set, are reported down.
Volunteer Fire and Rescue are responding to the corner of Anderson Hill Drive and Seney Drive in Bernardsville for a report of utility pole on fire.
Expect traffic delays in this area.
Power lines are down on the 200 block of Whiteneck Road in Basking Ridge. The road will be closed until the utility company is able to make repairs.
Avoid the area if possible. Detours will be posted.
