NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - FLIP Consignment held its official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 9 at its 1279 Springfield Ave. location in New Providence.

Mayor Brooke J. Hern, several New Providence councilmen and as friends and family of FLIP owners, Stefanie and Bruce Mathews, were on hand for the ceremony. The gathering began that evening with a few welcoming words from Stefanie Mathews, Nona LeRoux and Mayor Hern.

"I think FLIP is a unique business concept that absolutely fits within our business landscape, but also provides a mechanism for the cost effective exchange of athletic equipment that fills a need within the community," said New Providence Councilman Jim Madden.
