CORAL SPRINGS, FL - Coral Springs and Parkland will be highlighted at the BB&T Center in Sunrise on Saturday at 4 p.m. during the Florida Panthers Territory Takeover Nights.

While the Panthers take the ice against the Edmonton Oilers, Coral Springs and Parkland residents can enjoy special discounts on food and drink concessions, including domestic beer for residents age 21 and up. To receive the special pricing, residents just need to show an ID that includes a city address.

Coral Springs Mayor Scott Brook will drop the puck to start the game, and the special event will also include themed Snapchat filters for the two cities, plus a special appearance by New Found Glory bassist Ian Grushka, who grew up in Coral Springs and graduated from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.

Our newsletter delivers the local news that you can trust.

“[Grushka] will do interviews during the game, talking about growing up in Coral Springs,” Florida Panthers representative Adelyn Biedenbach said. “Our goal is to celebrate the neighborhoods that mean a lot to us, and we’ll celebrate them throughout the night.”
