MONTVILLE, NJ - The Montville football team lost, 42-10 to Parsippany Hills on Friday night at Montville Township High School.

After a Blaine Franc field goal gave Montville the lead in the first quarter, Parsippany Hills ripped off 42-consecutive points to take control of the game. 

Parsippany Hills quarterback Chris Evans completed 17-of-27 passes for 171 yards and four touchdowns. He threw for three touchdowns in the second quarter- passes of 1, 21, and 8 to Jordan Thompson, Ty Sallie, and Jacob Smith, respectively, which gave the Vikings a 21-3 lead going into halftime.

Dominick Verducci carried 19 times for 167 yards and two TDs for Parsippany Hills. 

Montville quarterback Blaine Franc completed 6 of 10 passes for 48 yards. Triston Perez carried four times for 46 yards, including a 2-yard TD run in the fourth quarter for Montville's only TD of the game.

The win improved Parsippany Hills to 3-0, while Montville dropped to 1-2. Montville will take on Chatham next Saturday on the road with a 2 p.m. kickoff.
