WESTFIELD, NJ —  Live Christmas trees can be a delight, but once the holiday passes you might not want their needles falling off in your living room.

Solution: The annual Westfield High School Music Christmas tree pickup.

For $20, Westfield residents can register to have Westfield High School music students pick up Christmas trees curbside.

Our newsletter delivers the local news that you can trust.

Pickup is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 5, when students will take the old trees to the town’s conservation center to be recycled.

Proceeds will go directly toward supporting meaningful musical experiences for band and choir students at Westfield High School. Additional donations are greatly appreciated, organizers said. Cash and checks made out to WHS Music will be accepted.

Reservations can be made by Dec. 27 by visiting www.westfieldxmastree.com.
