Former Roselle Ram Wins Big at Jamaican National Championships

ROSELLE, NJ - Former Abraham Clark High School alumni Akheem Gauntlett, Participated in the Jamaican National Championships on June 29, 2014.He ran a personal best of 45.00 to win the men’s 400 meters.

Gauntlett was a star athlete at the Abraham Clark High School in Roselle, NJ. Born Aug. 26, 1990, he is the son of Osbourne and Alviroh Gauntlett.

He has also shined at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Arkansas.  He owns indoor bests of 6.72 in the 60 meters and 21.13 in the 200 meters. Akheem also has outdoor personal-best times of 10.38 at 100 meters, 20.58 at 200 meters and 46.3 at 400 meters. More information can be found on Mr. Gaunlett at
