The Fortnightly Club of Summit held its first annual General Board Meeting (Fiscal 2012/2013) on September 19, 2012 at 10am at Historic Twin Maples in Summit, New Jersey. Calling the meeting to order was former board President Lorraine Bowyer, who was representing its new board President, Terry Andrews.
Agenda highlights included Twin Maples Beautification planning set for October 12th, Red Engine Social – a historical community event to benefit ‘friends of the firetruck’ on October 20th at 6 pm, Four Centuries Weekend October 20 – 21st, SJFC Art Auction November 17th, Theatre Dates, Book Club, Annual Calendar and related social committee chairs, and other fundraising initiatives. The final discussion was about the Twin Maples' participation on September 23rd at the Summit Wine and Food Festival with FOOD Network celebrity Chefs, and Tony Award nominees, Carolina & Diego, Summit residents who teach Tango lessons weekly at the mansion.
