PATERSON, NJ- A second overnight shooting leaving four people injured was reported by law enforcement on Thursday. Earlier today TAPinto Paterson reported on the shooting of a 47-year-old woman in an apartment at 72 12th Avenue.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald, the second incident was reported at approximately 11:40 p.m. on Wednesday when members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Mercer Street for shots fired.
While on scene, police were notified that four individuals, including two juveniles, 14 and 17 years old, had arrived at Saint Joseph’s Medical Center for treatment of non-fatal gunshot wounds. All four victims are from Paterson.
The investigation, which remains ongoing, located a crime scene in the area of Mercer and Franklin Street.
