Francesco Pizza Celebrates Grand Opening

July 8, 2014 at 5:12 PM

MILLTOWN, NJ - Milltown adds another place for quality Italian food and pizza, as Francesco's recently celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by family members, officials from the town's government, religious figures from the town, and many local friends.

Owners Vito and Margherita Rappa purchased the restautrant formerly known as Bella Villa, completely tore down the inside and remodeled it, bringing in new ovens, kitchen items, new countertops, and new tables and chairs. It gave the restaurant a completely new feel, and along with it came a new staff, and the quality menu that the Rappas already have in their restaurants in Burlington, NJ as well as their flagship restaurant in Manhattan.

From the day the Rappa's opened the first Francesco’s they have taken great pride in their food. They came from four generations of Italian chefs who were passionate about their cooking. They have tried to capture their passion and authenticity in the food they serve at the new restaurant.  Many of the items you will see on their menu are prepared from recipes that have been handed down by their fathers and their grandfathers. As for the ingredients, everything is fresh, nothing is frozen. Because tomatoes, olive oil and flour are the heart and soul of Italian cuisine, the Rappas import everything from Italy. Even their pizza crust is made with Italian virgin olive oil.

Come enjoy lunch or dinner at Francesco's, located at 23 North Main Street, phone number 732-214-9222.
