Why just exercise when you can dance? The Connection is hosting two FREE Dance Fitness workshops on Sunday, October 13th at 1:30 and 3:00pm with guest instructor, Debra Martin.
Certified Fitness Pro, Corporate Athlete® Facilitator, and Wellness Coach, Debra Martin will show participants how to make fitness fun in her classes “Fit Jam” and “Functionally Fit”.
Martin’s 1:30 workshop, “Fit Jam” features an upbeat rhythmic cardio dance workout with a mix of contemporary hip-hop, street jazz and club influenced movement styles to keep the class moving.
The 3:00 workshop, “Functionally Fit”, is a strength training workout designed to enhance muscular strength, endurance, and coordination. This full intensity workout focuses on the fundamentals of function and compound movement.
