EAST ORANGE, NJ - Under the direction of the Department of Policy & Planning, the City of East Orange has procured the services of UCEDC to provide professional training for local area ‘Micro’ business owners.
The training course will take place at the East Orange Senior Center 90 Hasted Street, East Orange with an Introduction to Entrepreneurship class on Tuesday January 15, 2019 6pm - 8pm. The course will continue for 6 consecutive Tuesdays with Entrepreneurship 101 from February 12-March 19, 2019 6pm - 8pm.
The six-week course is designed to assist new and established businesses to gain the tools needed to turn their business ideas into a success.
According the U.S. Department of Housing and Development (HUD) a micro enterprise business is any local business with 1-5 employees including the owner.
Union County (UCEDC) is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and SBA lender, UCEDC is committed to providing access to capital to underserved populations and communities.
