BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, NJ - Summer is almost over, and if you will be a freshman or new student at Ridge High School this fall, it's almost time to find out more about where you'll be spending your days in the 2014-15 school year.
Orientation for freshman who are making the move up from the William Annin Middle School, along with students at all grade levels who are new to the school district, is scheduled for Aug. 27 at the high school, which is located at 268 S. Finley Ave. in Basking Ridge.
The event, for students only, will allow a chance to tour Ridge High School, meet their high school counselor, register for the Naviance college planning program, and also attend a question and answer session with upperclassmen.
The event is divided into two groups. Students whose last names begin with A-K are asked to meet at 8:45 a.m. in the high school's auditorium lobby, to attend the session lasting from 9 to 11 a.m.
Those students whose last name begins with L-Z are asked to check in at 11:45 a.m. to attend the second session, scheduled for noon to 2 p.m.
