Gallery U Boutique will host the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra’s (NJSO) Art Strings fundraiser at a public reception on Sunday, May 18, 2014, from 2-5pm. Please be sure to stop by to view this year’s fabulous collection of painted violins and support the NJSO and an outstanding local art gallery! Not only will you have the chance to view original artwork, but you can also purchase raffle tickets to win one of the Art Strings violins.
Art Strings is a creative art project that raises funds for the NJSO’s extensive education and community engagement programs. Each year, the NJSO commissions 10 local artists to create individual works of art using violins as their canvas, drawing inspiration from a musical program or work the NJSO is presenting during the season. The violins will are displayed at select concerts and local galleries throughout the year, culminating in a raffle drawing on June 30, 2014.
Gallery U Boutique and the NJSO are proud to partner to present this event.
